Greetings! It’s about time I introduced myself. I sing and arrange Barbershop style, four-part a cappella arrangements, and I’ve set a goal of completing a new arrangement every month in 2023. I have several seedlings in various stages of development. Most of my charts are available on Sheet Music Plus or Sheet Music Direct. Today, I posted a public domain chart, on my website as well as SMP/SMD, called Somebody Knows. This was written way back in 1915 by Harry Von Tilzer. He was a quite well-known Tin Pan Alley composer, most famously as the writer of “I Want a Girl (Just Like the Girl That Married Dear Old Dad).” With a few lyric changes, an original intro and tag, this tune should make a fun contest song.
